Who Are We?

Elite Livein Care was founded in 2015 and is one of the leading  specialist live-in care providers in Hampshire. We have grown significantly since then, expanding our clientele throughout Hampshire and into surrounding areas. Our growth is due to the high level of service provided to our clients and via numerous referrals from those clients, their families and friends.

Our Mission

Our care delivery aims are in fully in line with Care Quality Commission standards; to provide high-quality, effective, compassionate care based around individual needs within an environment of continuous improvement.

In August 2017, Elite Livein Care Ltd received its first Care Quality Commission Inspection. The CQC assesses care providers using Five Key Questions and Key Lines of Enquiry to evaluate whether the service is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. We recruit high quality carers and ensure they are fully trained to comply with CQC standards. Each Elite carer has been subject to a comprehensive assessment process including a DBS check. Our carers receive ongoing support, reviews and training throughout their career with us in order to maintain our high standards.

We constantly monitor customer satisfaction to ensure our carers are delivering a service which meets CQC fundamental standards of quality and safety.

Our mission is to ensure each client's daily living is the best it can be and that they are treated with kindness, dignity and respect. We will provide the best possible care and companionship to ensure our clients live happy, healthy and enjoyable lives. Elite carers will always be compassionate and responsive to the changing needs of our valued clients.

About Elite carers

At Elite Livein Care, we complete background checks on all of our employees prior to employment. We would never allow a member of staff to care for our clients without a clear DBS/criminal record check.

Elite comprehensively trains and carries out a full induction for all new employees. Our carers are trained in line with Skills for Health's guidelines and are fully compliant with Care Quality Commission regulations. They are also encouraged to take advantage of the regular additional training courses that we offer.

We conduct face-to-face reviews with all our carers on a minimum three-monthly basis, which exceeds CQC minimum standards.

A recent initiative from Skills for Health is "The Care Certificate". Elite fully supports this programme and will ensure all of our carers have achieved the required standards to attain the award within 3 months of commencing employment with us.

Carers are matched to customers on a one-to-one basis. If requested, we are always happy for our carers to meet with clients before a care package is finalised. We do not set a start date until you and your loved ones are completely happy with your carer and you are content to proceed.

If, for any reason you are not happy with your assigned carer, we will replace them as soon as it is possible to do so. We would never expect our client to be cared for by someone they were not comfortable with.

Reliability is one of the central pillars of our service and stringent reliability standards are set out both in our employee and company guidelines.

We do not belong to a large group of companies, nor do we have any other business interests such as financial services. Delivering care is our only focus.

COVID-19

Our priority throughout the COVID-19 epidemic has been to ensure that our clients, staff and carers remain as safe as possible. This has included provision of suitable personal protective equipment (PPE) such as aprons, gloves, hand gel and face masks.

We have ensured that all procedures implemented by ourselves to minimise the risk of coronavirus infection correspond with current guidelines from both government and the NHS.

It is known that the two groups of people most at risk from severe COVID-19 infection are the elderly and those with underlying medical conditions such as cancer, respiratory disease and diabetes. One of the other primary risk factors for acquiring COVID-19 is being in enclosed spaces with significant numbers of other people.

Live-in care at home ensures that older adults have less exposure to people who could transmit infection. The Elite live-in carer will undertake all day-to-day tasks as usual whilst adhering to strict precautionary protocols to limit exposure to infection.
